MCSWA is pleased to be one of the implementing agency or Organisation of the Project TI-Female Sex Workers (FSW) , Injecting Drug User (IDU)  and  Core Composite (CC) in both the district of Jaintia Hills , which serve as an integral part of the diverse spectrum of harm reduction services.  Prevention and care services to High-Risk Population (FEMALE SEX WORKER-FSW, INJECTING DRUG USERS-IDUs) within communities by providing them with information means and skills they need to minimize HIV transmission and improving the access to care, support and treatment services.

As a response to the problem of High-Risk Population & HIV in Meghalaya, the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society with the support from the National AIDS Control organisation has set up and is continually scaling up Targeted Interventions with Female Sex Workers & Injecting Drug User (IDU in the State. Targeted Interventions (TIs) are prevention interventions that specifically target most-at-risk populations to acquire and transmit HIV infection.
